Testimonial

One of my pleasures is to stand before a painting or engraving, close my eyes and try to see back into the past. What did the artist look like and was the artist male or female? Were there several artists working on a single image? Did they sing, pray, talk as they worked? How were they dressed? What were they thinking and what did they want? Were images involved with their present, their past or their future? Then I would try to make my mind a blank and hope that some spontaneous image would come into my mind.
